To qualify for the badge, the individual’s primary duty assignment must be as an instructor; to be an instructor, the individual must complete instructor training requirements which include a teaching practicum. Prior AETC instructors, assigned to other AETC training or education functions, may continue to wear a previously earned AETC Instructor/Master Instructor badge.
